Cooking For Q

Natalie got to her apartment door and searched for her keys in her bag. Once she fished them out she unlocked the door and stepped inside, reaching across a counter to flip on somce lights.

The kitchen and dinning room were seperated by an island and the dinning room and living room by a loveseat. On the left side of the door was a shoulder high counter with spots for shoes underneath, and to the right of the door was a small closet. A TV sat up against the counter with a small sterio across the room. There was a door behind the living room and down the aisle between the couch and dinning room.

"That's the bathroom in their and my room is through there," Natalie said, pointing to the doors. (the one down the aisle is the bathroom and the one behind the dinning room is her room)

Natalie stepped fully inside.

Q stepped in wide eyed looking at the place. "Wow...this place is huge and awesome." He said wondering around a litle. "I might get lost here if I went looking round."

Natalie laughed and walked into the kitchen.

"It's actualy the smallest apartment in the building," she said. "Do you have anything special that you want for dinner?"

"It's already so nice your making me something...make anything you want." Q said walking up to her and giving her a big hug. "Thank Q for everything."

Natalie kept one arm around his shoulder as she reached up into a cuboard.

"Spagetti it is."

She pulled down a can of sause, paste, and a container of long noodles. She bent down and pulled two pots out of a dror(sp?).

"Why don't you watch some TV while I cook?" Natalie asked.

"What a TV?" Que asked innocently while her smiled at her. "Whats Skitti?"

"Spagetti is pasta with tomato sauce on it and a TV is that little black box over there."

She walked over and picked up the remote, switching the TV on.

"Ohmagod what kind magic is this?" Q said starring wide eyed at the TV. "I must study this futher. I must study this Car-toon-net-work." He said with a determined face.

Natalie laughed and told him to sit on the couch as she handed him the remote. She then went back to the kitchen to work on dinner.

Q sat down studing the box. He wasn't intrested in the shows. He wanted to know how the TV worked. He was amazed by it and then taken away by a delious smell. "It smells reawy good." Q said smiling.

Natalie smiled, putting a lid overtop of the pasta so that it could cook.

"The sause is almost done, do you want to try it?"

Q nodded and ran over to there. He had never tasted Spagetti sauce. Though it looked like pizza sauce o him. Q stood there with his mouth opened a little.

Natalie used a small spoon to scoop up the sause then put the spoon in his open mouth.

"Mmmmmmm" Q said as he licked his lips and looked at her. "It is very yummy." He hugged her "Thank-Q for everything."

Natalie hugged him back.

"It's no problem, really. I like helping people

"Next time we have dinner at ma house ok?" Que said continuing to hug her and he smiled.

Natalie laughed, still smiling.

"Ok."

"I'll set the table...where the plates?" Que said looking around.

Natalie got them down out of a cuboard.

"Thank you, but you don't have to."

"Okay" He said brightly as he watched her. "How did you learn to cook?"

Natalie shrugged.

"I learned the basics like toast and eggs and french toast and simple things like that from my parents...and the rest I learned from cookbooks and from taking cooking classes after or at school."

"Wow there is classes you can cook?" Que said said confused 'Could you teach me sometime?" He hen took plates and set them up.

Natalie nodded as she brought the two pots over to the table.

"No problem."

"mmmmmm looks really good." said licking his lips.

Natalie put noodles on the plates then sause on the noodles.

"Sit and eat, I'll be there in a second."

She went and put the pots back before coming and sitting down.
