Sparring

Tatsu led Ten into her backyard through the side gate. She dropped her bag off at the back door and motioned for Ten to do the same. She turned to face him, a worried smile on her face.

"I don't want to hurt you beacuse of my inexperience."

"It's ok, I'll be alright" Ten says truthfully, dropping his bag right by Tatsu's

Tatsu nodded and unsheated her sword, pointing the tip at the ground. She couldn't remember how to start a sparr, but this was how they did it in fencing so why not in sword fighting.

Ten pulls his sword out of his sheath and puts it over his neck, the tip pointing out on the other side of his body

Tatsu stared at him. Was that usual? For once in her life she felt really stupid. She shifted her hands around on the hilt of her sword. Taking a couple quick steps forward she swung her sword sideways, towards Ten's side.

Ten gets in his defensive position and says, "Don't feel stupid... each swordsman has his/her own pose with their swords... that was mine I did"

Tatsu giggled nervously as she swung towards his shins.

"Yeah...I'm just used to feeling inatiquit."

"I used to feel the same way" Ten says as he hand-plants on and over Tatsu's sword

Tatsu swung again and caught Ten on his hip before swinging back up to his head quickly.

Ten tries to hop dodge the swing towards his head, but it cuts off his left arm instead (all the way off), but Ten doesn't bleed

Tatsu screams and drops her sword, unable to take her eyes away from Ten's arm. She whips her cell phone out of her pocket and quickly dials 911, all the while starting to shake and cry a little.

Ten runs over and grabs Tatsu's arm and pushes the phone out of her hand with his one arm and says calmly, "Don't worry, it's all right" Suddenly, the arm piece that was cut off disinegrates, while Ten regenerate's a new arm
